Robert Schulman

Robert Schulman is a s self-trained photographer with a striking sense of composition. His panoramic photographs capture Buffalo's industrial and architectural landscape and its details and transform them into dramatic and poetic abstractions. "The vintage architectural and industrial landscape of our communities is special and worth preserving. Our surroundings have evolved for better and worse. I try to capture the beauty of what may soon be gone." Over the last 18 years my art evolved from entirely film to digital, cellphone and back to film. I enjoy spontaneity and the opportunities each format provides. He is a member of the Buffalo Society of Artists and  WesternNew York Artists Group .  His website is
